Fred & Jolanda Danen
After an impressive international career for several multinationals, Fred, in collaboration with his creative wife, Jolanda, decided to take another path and move to the French countryside in order to transform an old property into a beautiful establishment.
On April 1st 2011, this Dutch couple officially opened the doors to public, and over the years they managed to make Domaine Michaud into a well-known place with charming rooms and a gourmet restaurant.

Today, Fred and Jolanda together with their two children welcome guests from all over the world.


Sandor-noël Danen
As a child, he already knew he wanted to become a chef.
Which he never has regreted.
​
During his 4 years of studies in « Cuisine & Pâtisserie », Sandor-noël has been chosen to represent France in the « les Olympiades de Cuisine » in Hungary, as well as to take part in the «Trophée Marcel le Servot» in the kitchens of the Palais de l’Elysée.
​
After internships in, among others, the Michelin starred restaurants of the **chef Franck Putelat and ***chef Christophe Bacquié, he decided to pursue his own ideas and took over the kitchen from Domaine Michaud at the age of 18 years only.
​
Today as a chef, he spoils his customers with culinary surprises every day.
Naomi-esmée Danen
With a bachelor’s degree in « International Hospitality Management » and a certificate as que « Wedding Planner & Designer », Naomi-esmée has gained experience in the most luxurious hotels of Marrakech, Berlin and London.
​
After successfully completing the “Management Graduate Scheme” at the Dorchester Collection, she also decided to return to Domaine Michaud to strengthen the team and help them to create unforgettable experiences.
​
Today, responsible for all guest relations as well as the organisation of events, she is happy to help assist that every stay is customised to the guests wishes.
